Salvation Army Opens Registration for 2026 Bible Conference at Lake Junaluska to Inspire Radical Faith

March 2, 2026 — Lake Junaluska, N.C. The Salvation Army opened registration for its 74th annual Bible Conference, scheduled for August 9-15 at the Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center, to foster radical faith and deeper spiritual growth among hundreds of Salvationists, officers, soldiers, families and friends.

The event, nestled between the mountains of North Carolina, will feature strong biblical teaching, corporate worship, fellowship and spiritual development each day. It marks the start of a three-year series themed “Radical Faith: Not By Might,” drawing from Zechariah 4:6: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. Future years will cover “Nor By Power” in 2027 and “But By My Spirit” in 2028.

“We’re excited to invite you to join us once again in the beautiful mountains of Lake Junaluska for Bible Conference 2026,” says Roberta Simmons-Smith, territorial director of special events. “We’re excited to kick off our three-year ‘Radical Faith’ journey. Stay tuned for more announcements about special guests and speakers. We can’t wait to see you there!”
