Southeastern University (SEU) Experiences Spontaneous Holy Spirit Outpouring During Student-Led Conference

Feb. 11, 2026 — Lakeland, Fla. Southeastern University (SEU) experienced a spontaneous Holy Spirit outpouring during its annual student-led SEU Conference themed “Do It Again,” sparked by speaker Jennie Allen’s call for repentance. Students engaged in nonstop worship, public confessions of sins, prayer, reported emotional and physical healings, and baptisms in Bush Chapel, prompting the university to cancel classes on Feb. 12 and 13 to prioritize the event.

The outpouring began after Allen’s Feb. 11 morning session at Victory Church, where students stood to confess struggles including anger, pornography, and pride. Worship continued from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., transitioning to Bush Chapel for 24+ hours of continuous activity, later structured into sessions such as 9 a.m.–noon and 7 p.m.–midnight through at least Feb. 20.

Spark and Expansion

Jennie Allen challenged attendees to verbally name their sins, leading to minutes of raw confessions. SEU President Kent Ingle described the shift:

There was a moment in the midst of the conference when the atmosphere shifted. All of a sudden, the raw responses of students sparked an outpouring of spiritual and emotional healing. [2]

The Southeastern University (SEU) experiences spontaneous Holy Spirit outpouring drew about 900 attendees nightly by mid-event, half from off-campus across 10+ states, with tens of thousands viewing via SEU Chapel YouTube livestream. [3]

Reported Healings and Testimonies

Reports included physical healings such as a torn ACL and lazy eye, alongside emotional and spiritual breakthroughs, per James 5:15. Ingle noted:

We’ve had reports of all kinds of healings, including physical healings… some have even reported healings taking place right in their own homes. [2]

Students shared testimonies of transformation, with one sophomore stating, “We just want Jesus.” The SEU official page emphasized lives changed through desperation for Christ’s presence. [1]

University and Community Response

Classes were canceled Thursday to accommodate the Southeastern University (SEU) spontaneous Holy Spirit outpouring, resuming Friday with flexibility. Local churches supplied food and water; security and guidelines ensured safety, including no weapons and limited physical contact. Donations supported facilities costs. [4]

Ingle called it an “unstoppable hunger” for Jesus:

There’s an unstoppable hunger. Students simply want to be in the presence of Jesus. [2]

The Southeastern University (SEU) experiences spontaneous Holy Spirit outpouring aligned with prayers for youth revival, drawing Asbury 2023 comparisons. By Feb. 18, SEU transitioned to commissioning, ending unstructured gatherings Feb. 20. [5]

Ingle added:

God is unleashing faith, surrender and a fresh pursuit of Jesus in this generation. [3]

The event reflected student-led initiative, with leaders stewarding without labeling it “revival.”
