March 14, 2026 — Spring, Texas The United Women in Faith Texas Conference is hosting the “Shaped by Faith” Spring Spiritual Growth Event at Klein United Methodist Church, 5920 FM 2920 Rd., drawing women for a day of renewal and spiritual reflection.
Organized under the theme “Shaped by Grace: Becoming Vessels of Purpose,” the event features keynote speaker Rachel Raborn Norris, a potter from Joy Pottery in Bryan, Texas, who will demonstrate pottery while exploring biblical imagery of the potter and clay from Jeremiah 18:3-6.
“You are invited to come and learn more about the Heavenly Father by exploring a word picture He provides in His Word. Discover the richness of the layers of meaning in the portrayal of the potter and the clay by observing the work of a potter firsthand,” Norris states on the event registration page.
Focus group leaders include Rev. Hilda Marcel, a Houston pastor and founder of LueWish nonprofit, leading a session on God’s grace transforming flaws into purpose, and Debra Ellis, a United Women in Faith member, sharing insights from her mission trip to Gilgil, Kenya.
